Course Descriptions:
Standard Spanish Course: Combine your Spanish studies with tourism, work or play. This course is a half day beginning at 9:00 am until 12:00 p.m, Monday through Friday. This course focuses on improving your communication skills, listening comprehension, conversation, grammar, vocabulary, reading and pronunciation.
Intensive Spanish Course: Our intensive course offers 4 hours of lessons, with classes Monday through Friday beginning at 8:00 am until 12pm. This course focus is the same as our standard course working on communication, listening, conversation, grammar, vocabulary, reading, and pronunciation skills.
Spanish Course and Volunteer: Combine our Intensive Spanish Course with the opportunity to volunteer within the local community. While your classes will focus on grammar, conversation, and language comprehension; as a volunteer you will have the opportunity to donate your time to a worthwhile charity (such as an orphanage, hospital, or school).
Spanish Course and Dance Lessons: Combine your Spanish studies with dancing lessons! This course includes our Intensive Spanish course, followed by dancing classes in the afternoon with a professional instructor. You will move your feet and hips in traditional Latin American dances such as Salsa, Tango, and Merengue. Also, we include instruction in typical Colombian dances such as Cumbia, Mapale, and Vallento.
Spanish Course and Music Lessons: Combine your Spanish studies with music lessons! This course includes our Intensive Spanish course, followed by two one hour private sessons a week with a professional instructor. Select from lessons in piano, guitar, or base guitar.
Spanish Course and SCUBA (mini course or PADI OPEN WATERS certification course): This Cartagena course includes our Intensive Spanish course, followed by a diving course in the afternoons. We recommend the mini course for those that can only enroll for one week. For those students interested in OPEN WATER CERTIFICATION to become independent divers, we offer our longer diving course. Enrollment for two weeks is a requirement for this course. Finally, we offer scuba or snorkling excursions to Baru Island.
Spanish Course and Kitesurfing (Kiteboarding): This course allows you to combine our Intensive Spanish Course with a kitesurfing (kiteboarding) course in Cartagena for students enrolling from December to March. Those interested in learning Spanish while enjoying adventure water sports will find this course a great combination.
Spanish Course and Sailing (Sunfish): For those students interested in cruising the water on more that just a board, choose to study in our Intensive Spanish Course and take a sailing course using the easiest and most popular type of sailboat - the Sunfish. This course is only available from April to November in Cartagena.
Spanish Course and Windsurfing: This course allows you to combine our Intensive Spanish Course with a windsurfing course in Cartagena and is available year round. If you are a fan of sailing or surfing, have tried windsurfing or always wanted to - this is the course for you!
Spanish Course & Business: We work with you to customize this course for your specific professional needs! Topics are prepared in advance to ensure the material is relevant and tailored to the business needs of the student. We cover aspects such as marketing, negotiations, cultural aspects, etc to meet the needs in today’s global environment.
Spanish & Medical Vocabulary: This course is designed for those that want develp skills in Spanish and Medicine. We work with you to design the lessons and choose the topics to provide you with relevant and tailored lessons. You are going to learn vocabulary and subjects related to medicine.
Spanish Course for Specific Purposes: This course helps you to develop a specific knowledge in any area of the spanish language that you need. Classes are prepared in advance by the teacher and designed following your needs and requirements.
Weekend Spanish Immersion Course: If you want to travel on your weekend and learn Spanish, this course is for you. This is an immersion course during a weekend in a city close to Bogota. The teacher prepares all the materials and subjects that you wish to learn in the trip.
Spanish Course In Individual Private Lessons: We offer students the opportunity to have individual attention through private lessons of 15, 20 or 25 hour per week. As with all our Spanish courses your tutor will provide instruction in communication skills, listening comprehension, conversation, grammar, vocabulary, reading and pronunciation.
Saturday Program: If you work Monday to Friday and have no time during week days, this course is perfect for you. Personalized Spanish lessons with socio-cultural and touristic components. Private classes are offered in sessions of 2 or 4 hours every Saturday, with a minimum registration of 8 hours. These classes will include Spanish language along with Colombian culture such as history, cultural norms, traditions, and dialects.Once a month you will go out on a marvellous excursion accompanied by your teacher.
Spanish Conversational Classes Online: Unable to join us in person? Do you want to keep practicing and learning Spanish? We have an online program for you. Take a lesson in the morning from home, connect from the office at lunch, or take a live session before bed. Your classes will be with one of our professional teachers in real time.
