Cicada - German Grammar - Deutsche Grammatik

  

Cicada
Cicada is one of my favorite food. It has high protein and nutrition values. During the summer holidays children like to dig cicadas. It's clear that eating cicadas season is coming.  There are some people with torches to look for the cicadas at night. It’s easy to find cicadas on jujube trees, willow trees and the popular Chinese parasol trees. Some other cicadas hide in the ground. We will spend a long time on looking for their small holes. When you point or middle finger was stuck in the hole you would dig up a cicada. That's interesting.

Nearly all the cicadas have been eaten up by Shandong province people. Therefore the cicadas are very expensive in Shandong province. It's about ¥ 0.8 or ¥1 per cicada. Some business people of Shanxi province sell cicadas to Shandong province. They can get a great profit from Shandong markets. They know that it is one of the most popular foods in Shandong. Other province people would not even try to eat it.
